In early June 2014, the list of 2014 Forbes China Top 100 business women was revealed. The List has comprehensively reviewed the 100 most powerful businesswomen in China and found out the reason for the success of them. This is the first time Forbes has assessed the role of female entrepreneurs, managers and innovators and reported about their impacts. Zhang Ronghua, graduate of EMBA of JU, has been ranked 26th in the List.
The List has chosen female entrepreneurs and managers who have positively influenced their companies, industries and even the whole society. These women leaders are ranked according to the size, performance and headcounts of their companies, as well as how their companies have influenced local communities. Leadership, management skills, and the real role of these female leaders have also been taken into account.
Zhang Ronghua is the manager of RongCheng Group, a private company operating in steel, technology finance, culture and health care, international trade, chemical engineering of coal, and comprehensive utilization of resources. The Group is headquartered in the economic and technological park in Tianjin, with 600million registered capital, 5000 mu of land,
and over 8000 employers. The Group has strong producing capacity of steel, making 50.3 billion Yuan of revenue and handing in 600 million Yuan of taxes. RongCheng Group has been ranked 224th among the 500 best Companies in China and has been No.1 among private companies in Tianjin. Now the Group has 11.4 billion Yuan worth of fixed assets and has made net profits of 6.6 billion Yuan. In the past 20 years, the Group has contributed 6.4 billion Yuan in taxes and 400 million Yuan for charity.
Zhang Ronghua is also a philanthropist. In the past 20 years, she has donated over 400 million Yuan to charity. After the severe earthquake broke out in Wen Chuan, Sichuan province, Ms. Zhang gave away 100 million Yuan on the occasion of the Charity Party held by China Central Television.
