On the afternoon of May 5, the SJTU EMBA delegation arrived in Shanghai which means SJTU 13th EMBA oversea study tour had ended. The delegation tour departed for United States on April 20 which lasted 15 days. The delegation visited eight top university and economic college including Columbia University, Harvard University, MIT, Yale University, Stanford University, West Point, University of San Francisco (USF), and University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. They listened to a number of courses of well-known professors and they experienced the top business school learning atmosphere and thought.

In the beautiful Hudson River, U.S. Army Colonel Sean Hanna of West Point and Dr. Hennelly taught them "personal and organizational leadership" and "business strategy and military strategy" courses. The delegation also visited the west point campus over 200 years.

In the MIT Sloan School of Business, 4 Sloan Fellows (full-time EMBA) exchange the ideas with members of the study tours, the similar background makes the Common topic, the two country entrepreneurs exchange the opinions between countries on business and economic understanding.

In Harvard Business School, Prof. Guhan Subramanian and Prof. Felix Oberholzer-Gee taught the market are commercial negotiations, professors combined the theory and the case skillfully, expanding the students thinking, Members understand well on what is the world-class business school professor taught, the students have also been highly praised by two professors.

In University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Marshall University Business School, Professor Karl taught them strategic innovation programs in the method of classroom lectures, interactive quizzes, simulation games and many other different teaching methods.

In addition to university studies, the delegation also visited the Cisco, plug and play and other well-known multinational companies. They had gotten deep feelings of the fast innovative concept of these world-class corporations.

EMBA students learned a better understanding of East-West cultural differences through communicating with world-class professors and exchanging thought. The activity also opened up the international thinking and vision of students. Through the delegation tour, SJTU Antai College exchanges with world-class universities and colleges which expands the international network of resources to enhance the college’s international brand reputation.
