Innovative Mindset Training Camp of EMBA (the Second Phase of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Salon) Opens Successfully

On Apr. 18, 2014 night, Xuhui campus was as quiet as before while room S301 of Xin Shang Schoolroom was filled with roaring people. The opening ceremony of innovative mindset training camp (the second phase of innovation and entrepreneurship salon) coheld by Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Antai College of Economics& Management (ACEM) program EMBA and Forum of China’s Brand Value Management of the 21st Century Economic Report was held a success.

Chief executive and president Liang Weiping of Anjuke Group, founder Zuo Zhijian of MZread shared the knowledge of being successful in the unusual era of the Internet to 80 audiences during the event and were awarded with letter of appointment of ‘innovative and entrepreneurial EMBA’. Ren Jianbiao, president assistant of ACEM and director of EMBA program host this event.

An era when the Internet links people

Liang Weiping, chief executive and president of Anjuke, founded the most preferred Internet real estate information provider domestically on January 2007. He made the speech with topic of ‘linking era’ to analyze the far-reaching influences that mobile Internet has brought to our lives and vertical fields through the angles of business, technology and trend.

‘The characteristics that the Internet differs from PC is that the former links person and person while the latter links person and information. The Internet has experienced three generations from 1.0 media times to 2.0 platform times and then, to the times of 3.0 when people are linked together by technologies represented by Wechat. This is quite different from information links of the Internet.’ Liang Weiping said. 

The Internet mindset is a revolution 

As a subverter of Internet reading, founder of MZreader Zuo Zhijian had his unique insight of the Internet mindset. From the very beginning of the speech, Mr. Zuo said the Internet mindset is a revolution. ‘As a new method of resource allocation, the Internet mindset has caused all resources to allocate depend on it. For traditional enterprises, the biggest challenge for the Internet mindset is the shock it brings to organization forms and inherent interests more than the resource allocation method. The Internet mindset requires enterprises to be delayered rather than being bureaucratic to respond quickly to changes, which pushes enterprises to make timely adjustments according to pioneering trends and customer needs.’ Mr. Zuo introduced. 

Mr. Ren shared the latest research results of ‘the Internet mindset’ at the end of the event. He introduced the major three characteristics of the Internet mindset: decentralization, disintermediation and instant connection of all. This mindset is more a value net than the traditional value links. What the guests said triggered deep deliberations of the audiences. The audiences discussed intensely in groups on hot new media marketing cases like Xiao MI, Huang Taiji Pancakes, Diao Ye, Nike, and Chu orange. 

‘Innovative Mindset Training Camp’ provided EMBA students and entrepreneurs from all walks of the society with the most pioneering and fresh perspectives of China’s brand circle in the form of entrepreneurial salons and offered brand builders a platform to communicate in deep ways so as to connect the business circles with the academic circles, helping entrepreneurs to put theories into practice.
